From Teen Artist to Bridal Beauty Expert — A Journey Rooted in Family & Glam
FizBeauty began long before it had a name.
At just 10 years old, I was assisting my beautiful mother, Farah—my first mentor and lifelong business partner—as she worked her magic on clients in our community. I wasn’t holding a brush just yet, but I was already absorbing everything: technique, energy, and the art of making someone feel beautiful.
By the time I was 14, I launched FizBeauty with nothing more than an Instagram page and a passion for glam. My very first client? My best friend, for her quinceañera. That experience sparked something in me. Soon, I was doing makeup for homecoming, prom, and wedding guests. Then came Laiba—my longtime friend, whose dholki look marked my first step into bridal beauty. At just 16 years old, she became my first bride.
At 17, I began building my dream. I trained my cousin Abeera, and FizBeauty began growing from a solo passion into a real team. Since then, my mother and I have spent the past seven years pouring our hearts into this business, transforming FizBeauty into a luxury South Asian hair and makeup team known across Chicagoland and beyond.
Today, at 24, I lead FizBeauty alongside my mom —still doing what we love, but with a vision that’s grown far beyond where it started. From quince glam to celebrity clients and full bridal parties, FizBeauty is a testament to the power of passion, family, and trusting your younger self’s wildest dreams.
